“ They prepared a wonderful vegetarian tasting menu un my request and my husband that got the regular with meat and fich was very happy to. In ouer opinion the restaurant deserves two michelin stars rather than one ⭐⭐Lovely wine list too. Thanks ”
“ For our first time at the Ecrin de Yohann Chapuis, we had a very nice moment. The diner space is bright and with a hint of copper that recall the old time at the Victorian mansion's kitchen. We both went for the €130 Ecrin menu and we had a fantastic time, travelling with taste with some fine, tasty and well executed presented dishes. The octopus was absolutely astonishing and the desert a discovery on its own. As a drink, from the wide selection of wines, with the advice of the sommelier, we went for a Pommard, perfectly matching our tasty journey. If you are looking for a gastronomic experience, we highly recommend l'Ecrin de Yohann Chapuis, you won't be disappointed! ”
“ Delicious and amazing experience. Totally worth the visit. 100% recommended. The service, the food… we tried 2 different menus to try more things. The signature cocktail is really good, the cheese surprise option is mind blowing… thank you so much for such incredible experience. Ps. The smoked butter is the best! ”
“ One of the top three meals we've had in France (l'Auberge de Bagatelle, Le Mans, Les Morainieres, Jongieux, being the other two). Service, presentation, wine list, appetizer to dessert-all top level. Better than the three star Michelin restaurant we ate at a few days later. A passion fruit souffle was a dish to remember... ”
“ A fabulous evening with excellent food, beautifully presented and great wine pairings. At €450 for a meal for two I was happy with the overall experience but felt the service was 4 not 5 star because: 1.We were asked if we wanted an aperitif without seeing a drinks menu. So we had no idea what was on offer or what it would cost. We therefore declined until we were subsequently presented with a menu. 2. No wine list was at the table, only a card saying wine pairings of eg 4 glasses of wine per person were available at a certain price. It was therefore hard to decide whether to order by the whole bottle or go for the pairings. 3. Bad form from the sommelier. I asked for the wine list and he told me i should not decide on wine until I knew what I wanted to eat. I found this insulting and regardless of it being a valid point, waiters should not challenge the customers wishes. 4. The wine list was an intimidating beast: 4 comb bound volumes presented in a huge binder which took up a.lot of the table space and was so impractical. ”
“ I was very impressed from start to finish. We had the écrin menu and there wasn't anything on the menu that I didn't enjoy. All items were beautifully presented, unique and clever creations that offered a wonderful gastronomy experience. ”
“ Definitely need to book a table. Excellent food. We choose menu B €49 three courses. Highly recommend ”
